The Department of Geography at J.H. Government P.G. College betul, established in 2007.The department has been offering Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) since 2007 and Master of Arts (M.A.) since 2011. The Students are also encouraged to join and participate in all the departmental and co-curricular activities. UG and PG students are taught using modern methods and are taken for educational tours to various places like Amba Mai Dharud Athner  etc. These tours provide an opportunity to experience real conditions and the problems of displacement of tribal communities. The thrust of the department is based on the overall development of the students.
